Is UAV Forecast Still Free?
Current free-plan scope and subscription prices are not verified here. The UAV Forecast public page (checked ) returned a JavaScript application shell in the HTTP check. Its public description supports the feature statements above, but it does not establish current plan entitlements. Check the offer in the product before you buy. This page makes no claim that a specific forecast period is free or paid.
Compare the Fields That Affect Your Flight
Read the forecast height, units and valid time in the tool you choose. VectorWX's current summary uses 80 m / 262 ft AGL sustained wind. Its gust field is from the surface feed. Neither value is a measured gust at 400 ft. Match the units to the manufacturer rating for your drone, and check conditions on the return route.
Read the reasons behind a go/no-go result. The VectorWX public hub uses published default limits; it does not automatically apply the model specifications in this directory. A missing field or a stale snapshot needs attention before flight. Use site observations and an official briefing to resolve uncertain conditions.
Check Weather and Operating Permission
For Part 107 flights, review the preflight assessment duties and weather limitations. A weather comparison cannot grant airspace access. The free preflight checklist helps you review the separate checks.
